The last few times Utah and Arizona State have played, the Sun Devils have blistered the Utes with their speed. Today's game could be more of the same, which is why I am picking the Sun Devils to win. ASU's offense is so varied, I think the Utes will have trouble slowing it, as good as the Utah defense has played recently. Running back Marion Grice is a great example of that diversity as he is not only a great runner but has good hands as well. Can they Utes contain him? I have my doubts. Having said that, it wouldn't be a surprise if the Utes do win today. Utah plays well at home and ASU hasn't performed well on the road. Both teams have a lot of motivation, but the Utes might want this game a little more because they are at home, want to stop the two-game losing streak and are coming off a bye week. The Utes had some great practices in the last two weeks and if that enthusiasm carries to the game, ASU could be ripe for an upset. Keys to a Utah win would of course be taking care of the ball and avoiding the costly turnovers that have plagued quarterback Travis Wilson. The offensive line, which is coming off some of its worst showings, must improve and give Wilson more time. That means the line must keep tabs on ASU linebacker Carl Bradford, a speedy guy who terrorizes teams from several different places.Utah's defensive line has to come up big and stop the Sun Devils' offense before it gets rolling as well. If the Utes can contain Grice and get to quarterback Taylor Kelly, the Utes will have a chance, a very good chance. - Lya Wodraska
