Walk through the trees, enjoy the crisp air and sunshine as your feet rustle through a carpet of golden leaves.

Now is the time. The National Weather Service's forecast for Wednesday is an autumnal echo of Tuesday's: high temperatures in the upper-60s with overnight lows in the 40s.

It will be much the same for southern Utah, though highs there will be in the mid- to upper-70s with overnight lows in the 40s under sunny skies.

The Utah Division of Air Quality started Tuesday with "Yellow," or moderate ratings for breathability in Salt Lake, Davis, Weber and Cache counties. The remainder of the state's air quality monitoring regions won "Green," or healthy grades.

The Utah Avalanche Center issued "moderate" risk ratings for snowslides above the tree line in the mountains of Logan, Salt Lake and Uintas.
