It was a good night to be a 6-foot-11 center.
Southern Utah had no answers for Utah State center Jarred Shaw. The rangy big man poured in 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, both team highs, to lead the Aggies to a 90-57 victory.
The kicker was that Shaw said he had not been happy with his own performance against USC, and it motivated him to get back into gear on Tuesday night.
"Coach gave me the challenge to bounce back and have a good game," he said. "I took that challenge and tried to do what I can do."
In the video above, Shaw talks more about his game and the team's overall performance. Check it out.
