Don't stop believing in the Pompatus of Love, especially when two of rock's most enduring bands team up and hit the road next summer.

Megabands Journey and The Steve Miller Band, both purveyors of the so-called "San Francisco Sound," will co-headline a 41-city tour next summer — including a stop July 17 at Usana Amphitheater in West Valley City, Utah.

The opening act on the tour is Tower of Power, the legendary horn-heavy soul band (which, as it happens, is playing at Park City's Egyptian Theatre tonight through Sunday).

Tickets for the Journey/Steve Miller Band/Tower of Power show go on sale Friday, Nov. 22, at Smith's Tix.
