Letter: Horsewhipping might be appropriate for violating trust

There have been several reports of death threats made to the goblin-topplers ("'Goblin' topplers say they are receiving death threats," Tribune, Oct. 18). These are most inappropriate.

Yes, they would learn a lesson, but it wouldn't last long enough.

For those in positions of trust and authority who commit serious breaches of that trust, perhaps horsewhipping would be more fitting. (Swallow hard, John!)
