Women's top 25 basketball polls rank UConn No. 1; BYU gets some nods

Both the Associated Press and USA Today top 25 polls for women's basketball placed the University of Connecticut and its 4-0 record in the top spot.

Voters in both polls unanimously ranked UConn as No. 1.

Duke (3-0), Louisville (4-0), Tennessee (4-0) and Stanford (3-1) round out USA Today the top 5.

The AP Top 25 Poll ranked its 1 through 5 as: UConn, Duke, Louisville, Tennesee and Notre Dame (3-0).

No Utah schools were ranked in the top 25 in either poll but BYU did receive 11 nods from the USA Today voters. —
