Cool trio Haim plays Urban Lounge on May 22; tickets on sale Friday

The Los Angeles Times recently said "there's probably not a cooler band in America right now" than Haim — and Utah rock fans will get to see for themselves on May 22.

Haim announced today its first headlining tour of North America, which includes a stop May 22 at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City.

Haim is a California sister trio — Este, Danielle and Alana Haim — whose debut album, "Days Are Gone," debuted at No. 1 on the UK charts, and debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 album chart in the United States.

The band will be getting major national exposure this weekend, as the musical guest on "Saturday Night Live" on Nov. 23.

Tickets for Haim's Urban Lounge show are $17 in advance, $20 on the day of the show, and go on sale Friday at 24Tix.
