A Logan man who was hit by a truck in a crosswalk earlier this week was upgraded to fair condition on Wednesday.
Chris Dallin, spokesman for Ogden's McKay-Dee Hospital, confirmed that Tarique Fasih Zaman, 33, appeared to be out of danger. Zaman had been listed in critical condition after he was hit in a Logan crosswalk 11:15 a.m. Monday.
Zaman was crossing 400 North at 200 East when a northbound truck driver turned left and hit the man, knocking him to the pavement.
Suffering head trauma, Zaman was first taken to Logan Regional Hospital and then flown to McKay-Dee.
No citations had been issued as the accident remained under investigation.
