The Natural History Museum of Utah gave weekend visitors a behind-the-scenes look into its operations.

Only a fraction of the museum's million objects are on display. One weekend each year, the museum invites visitors to tour what usually only employees get to see — its paleontology, anthropology, and biology collections plus its research labs.
