Police were hunting for two suspects who held up a Salt Lake City business at gunpoint and fired at least one shot before speeding off late Friday morning.
Salt Lake City police Detective Dennis McGowan said the suspects two young Latino men, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9, both wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, beanie caps and bandanas burst into the Midtown Wholesale store at 1465 S. State Street about 9:30 a.m.
The pair demanded cash, beer and clothing, took several items of merchandise and then jumped into a green compact car that sped away southbound.
McGowan said one of the two suspects fired a shot into the interior of the store but no one was hurt.
