GOAT is regularly used as an acronym to describe players considered the "greatest of all-time" in their respective sports.

However, Jose Canseco took the term literally Wednesday when he was pulled over driving two goats in diapers home as new pets for him and his girlfriend.

Canseco, who won two World Series titles but is most famous for his tell-all book admitting anabolic steroid use, is an eccentric figure to put it mildly and live tweeted taking the goats home.

The former outfielder solicited names from his Twitter followers, briefly considering "Roid" and "Rage", before settling on "Coco" and "Chanel."

During the journey home to Las Vegas, the couple and their new pets were pulled over and Canseco sent out a tweet saying, "Just got pulled over with goats in the car. The cop laughed at our poor goats. Awesome."

Leila Knight, Canseco's model girlfriend, told the Toronto Star yesterday that the goats are miniature silky fainting goats and were purchased for $175 each. Knight also confirmed that the diapers the goats were wearing were Depends.

"We just made a hole for the tail," she told the Toronto Star. "I'm going to have to buy those eventually for Jose, so I might as well start now."
