An elderly Millcreek woman with dementia who went missing Monday evening was found by police alive and uninjured on a West Valley City street early Tuesday morning.
West Valley City police spotted 75-year-old Patricia Clark and her silver Nissan Altima about 3 a.m. near 1800 West and 3500 South. She was checked out and soon returned to the care of her family.
Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal said that Clark had been last seen about 7:40 p.m. Monday, following a family member home. As the relative turned into her neighborhood in the 700 block of Shady Lake Drive, Clark continued to drive north on 700 East.
Hoyal said Clark did not answer calls to her cell phone and could not immediately be located, prompting UPD to issue an endangered mission person alert.
