The Aggies survived as much as they won on Tuesday night at the Dee Events Center.

Weber State gave Utah State a run for its money, but the visiting Aggies managed to get by with a 77-71 win over one of their perennial toughest rivals. The other tough local rival will play Utah State on Saturday night at EnergySolutions Arena.

One of the biggest difference-makers was sophomore forward Kyle Davis, who recorded "his best game as an Aggie," coach Stew Morrill said. In the second half, Davis seemed to get lost by the baseline as the Wildcats doubled up on Shaw, and from there, it was a matter of teammates finding him and him finishing.

"My mental thought was just to try to dunk everything I touched," he said. "When you do that you seem to go a little harder and finish better."

In this video, Davis talks about his game, his desire to dunk, the halftime message and previews (a little bit) facing the Cougars on Saturday. Check it out, and stay tuned for coverage.
