Texas-based Freebirds World Burrito is opening its second restaurant in Utah on Monday.

Franchisee MC Food Service is opening the new outlet at 2682 S. High Commons Way (5600 West) in West Valley City. The first restaurant opened earlier this year at 5419 S. Redwood Road in Taylorsville.

The casual burrito eatery, which the company calls a "joint with a rock 'n' roll attitude," will randomly choose 25 winners on opening day to win a free burrito per week for a year.

On Saturday, the restaurant will hold a charity event open to the public to benefit both the Utah Parent Center and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

According to the company's website, a third location will open on New Year's Day in Park City, but the address was not listed.
