Letter: Pollution is as bad as smoking

I find all of this debate over the smoking age interesting when every Salt Lake resident is already a smoker.

A bad air day is equivalent to smoking one pack of cigarettes.

Gov. Gary Herbert has essentially lowered the smoking age to in utero. With the expansion of the Holly Refinery, we get to add another seven tons! Come on, Utah, call the governor, demand clean air: 801-538-1000.
