Letter: Congress should stop annoying calls

I am tired of receiving calls from "Heather at Credit Card Services" offering to lower the interest rate on charge cards and other telemarketing companies.

I have been on the no-call list both with my residential and cellphones for years. I have complained online to www.ftc.gov but we all continue to receive these calls.

May I offer this suggestion to our elected federal officials. Rather than vote almost 50 times to stop the Affordable Care Act, why don't you give the FCC the resources and authority to stop this constant interruption?

Someone is not doing his job or is unable to do it due to lack of funding, so let's take care of it.

If Congress does not act, let's vote them all out.
