Letter: Bring back halftime band shows

Someone made a bad decision to replace the marching bands at halftime of college football games with ugly talking heads — a bunch of ex-football players and coaches talking, talking, talking.

How many of the viewers would choose talking heads over a marching band. Bands have always been a part of the football experience, and whoever spoiled that experience should be tarred and feathered. And what about the networks who chose to copy that?

Give us back the bands. The talking heads already have their place before and after the game.
