Letter: Tarbet fills AG seat with honesty, integrity

Finally, finally, a man of integrity, moral center and honesty is sitting in the attorney general seat, at least temporarily. Maj. Gen. Brian Tarbet, formerly commander of Utah National Guard, is a man I trust and believe will not be swayed by the lobbyists and others who may have haunted the previous two attorneys general.

I served in the Utah Air National Guard and found the general to be a man of vision and passion who is not afraid to speak his mind even if it hurt.

I hope that this fresh approach will help heal a demoralized public trust.
