You know that family or perhaps you're one of them.

Each year as soon as these families finish raking up fall leaves, their attention turns to the task they've been preparing for since last year's post-holiday clearance sales: decking the halls with hundreds of thousands of tiny lights, waving Santas, gargantuan candy canes and the like.

For a number of years, The Salt Lake Tribune asked readers to identify neighbors and friends — or out themselves — as Utahns whose outdoor holiday decorations leave passersby speechless.

We built a map and profiled some of these people in a feature we called the Holiday Light Brigade.

This year, Jennifer Napier-Pearce is reviving that feature, and we need your help.

Do you know someone like this? Are you someone like this?

Share for your favorite residential holiday lighting displays by calling our tip line at (717) 850-8742, sending an email to jnpearce@sltrib.com or posting a Tweet using the hashtag #triblights by Sunday, Dec. 8, at 8 p.m.

Napier-Pearce will feature the best of these in a story and in a video later this month.

Let the brigade begin.
