Police are looking for a man who robbed a Midvale bank on Friday.

A man went into Zion's Bank, 159 W. Center Street, about 11:30 a.m. Friday, and gave a note to a teller, demanding money, Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal wrote in a statement.

The man received the cash and fled on foot, Hoyal wrote. Investigators do not know whether he later got into a vehicle.

The man is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall, medium build, in his 20s, with some facial hair. He was wearing a brown knit cap and a grey hoodie.

He did not use any weapons in the robbery, Hoyal wrote.

Anyone with information may call police at 385-468-9814.
