Here's what's being talked about in pop culture:

• Rock band Heart has canceled a Feb. 9 concert at SeaWorld Orlando, in protest of the theme park's handling of its animals (as chronicled in the documentary "Blackfish"). The band is the third musical act, after Willie Nelson and Barenaked Ladies, to cancel gigs at the park. [CNN]

• Tom Cruise is going to star in a sequel to "Jack Reacher," and apparently there's nothing any of us can do to stop it. [The Hollywood Reporter]

• Actress Eleanor Parker, a three-time Oscar nominee ("Caged," 1950; "Detective Story," 1951; "Interrupted Melody," 1955) who also played the Baroness who lost Capt. Von Trapp to Maria in "The Sound of Music," has died at the age of 91. Turner Classic Movies will play a marathon of Parker's films on Dec. 17. [Los Angeles Times, TCM]
