Salt Lake City police looking for person of interest in homicide

The Salt Lake City Police Department is looking for a person of interest in a stabbing death outside a downtown homeless shelter.

The department named Natalie Fern Bluehouse, 50, as a person of interest in the case — which is not the same thing as a suspect.

"She's someone we want to talk to about it," said Sgt. Robin Heiden

Willie D. Hollingsworth, 49, was stabbed in his abdomen near the Road Home shelter at 210 S. Rio Grande the evening of Nov. 20. Hollingsworth was taken to the hospital about 6 p.m. but died later that night before detectives had a chance to talk to him.

Bluehouse frequents the shelter and is described as 5-foot-5, 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The police do not know how Hollingsworth came by the stab wound, Heiden said. Police also did not know if he was stabbed where emergency responders found him, or if he arrived in the area already wounded.
