Sacramento State

Cal State Northridge

Remember those two teams? Utah lost these games last season. You know, the games where the Utes came out flat, hit a skid and could never recover.

Utah recovered on Tuesday night against Idaho State.

Yes, it's the Bengals. No, the Bengals will probably not win the Big Sky, or come close to doing so.

But the Utes were still impressive when they could've rolled over.

"The win wasn't perfect, but we'll take it," Larry Krystkowiak said.

It's obvious Utah came down with a severe case of the look-aheads against Idaho State. After all, the Utes are playing BYU on Saturday night at the Huntsman Center.

ISU took full advantage in building a 15 point lead. Utah didn't panic. It didn't throw up bad shots. The Utes came back and won. It was a game they probably wouldn't have - or couldn't have - won last season.

For that? Krystkowiak's team gets credit.
