Brandon Snell, a 6-foot-1, 205-pound receiver at Garden City Community College in Kansas who has committed to the Utes, was named a second-team NJCAA All-American on Monday. Snell played in 10 games, finishing with 841 yards and 10 touchdowns. Speaking of recruits, Wednesday marks the beginning of the mid-year junior college signing period. Kaelin Clay, a 5-11, 175-pound receiver out of Mt. San Antonio C.C., who has committed to the Utes, is expected to sign with the Utes during the period. - Lya Wodraska
