The Unified Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two men who robbed a Millcreek area check-cashing business earlier this month.

On Dec. 6 at about 11:20 a.m., two suspects with scarves over their faces entered the Check 'n Go at 757 E. 3300 South and demanded money.

One suspect displayed a silver handgun as the two robbers ordered the clerk to open the safe.

While waiting for the timer on the safe to open, a customer entered the business. The suspects threatened to shoot both the employee and customer if they did not comply with the robbers' demands.

Once the safe was open, the suspects took the cash, bound the employee and customer's hands with tape, and fled.

They were seen getting into an older model gold or bronze passenger car, possibly an Infinity, at a neighboring business.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect who wielded a gun was described as an Hispanic, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, wearing silver pants and a black jacket.

The other suspect was described as an Hispanic male, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-9, wearing a brown jacket.

If anyone has any information as to the identity of the suspects they are asked to contact the UPD at 801-743-5844.
