As expected, Mt. San Antonio College receiver Kaelin Clay signed his letter of intent with Utah on Wednesday, the first day of the midyear JC transfer signing period.

The 5-foot-10, 188-pound Clay led the SCFA Central Conference in yards (995), yards per game (90.5), and touchdowns (16). For his JC career he finished with 90 receptions for 1,654 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Clay originally signed with Cal out of Long Beach Poly H.S., in 2009. He redshirted in 2010 then sat out the 2011 season with an injury before going to Mt. SAC.

He has one season of eligibility remaining.

The signing period runs through Jan. 15.
