UTA runs Ogden ski buses

Utah Transit Authority has begun its bus service to Ogden-area ski resorts Snowbasin and Powder Mountain .

Now in its second year, the cost of a ski-bus ride is $4.50 one way. From the Ogden Transit Center and Frontrunner Station at 2350 S. Wall Ave., UTA route 675 goes to Snowbasin while route 674 services Powder Mountain.

Snowbasin buses run from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily. To accommodate night skiing, Powder Mountain buses will operate from 6:55 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., said Aimee Edwards, a spokeswoman for the Ogden-area resorts.
