Remember Gov. Olene Walker, 2003-2005, a great Republican political leader? She became a victim of the political rite of passage.
The good ol' boys pushed her out of the GOP state convention to allow the male to take the lead.
Gov. Walker could have been elected with much support from the Democrats.
