Thursday was a crazy time for Utah weather, with storms and power outages rolling across the Wasatch Front. Fox 13 photographer Eric Brown caught one of the most dramatic of those moments, when he shot footage of a power pole in Cottonwood Heights exploding. Fox reports that the explosion left 1,400 customers without electricity.

Thursday's storm also snarled traffic at the Salt Lake International Airport, forcing diversions to the Provo airport, and was generally a nightmare for commuters.
