Sad news to report today as Bronzell Miller, who starred for Utah's defense in 1993-94, lost his long battle with multiple myeloma and passed away at the age of 42. After leading the WAC in sacks in 1994, Miller was selected in the seventh round by St. Louis in the 1995 NFL draft. He played for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1995 and in the Canadian Football League where he he'd his team to the Grey Cup championship in 1998. He also played for the Los Angeles Avengers in the Arena Football League. Utah coach Kyle Whittingham remembered Miller as a great player and person "He was one of the most positive people I have ever been around and had an infectious personality that always seemed to lift everybody's spirits," he said. "He will be missed by all and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family." - Lya Wodraska
