We've had a bit of a reprieve, but the forecast calls for more polluted air by Christmas Day for the Salt Lake valley.

That presents an opportunity to remind you to share your "My Bad Air Day" stories with The Salt Lake Tribune and KUED Channel to help inform our coverage of one of the most important issues facing our state.

Already, many of you have shared your stories along with some great ideas for future stories now that The Tribune on Sunday kicked off an ongoing series with reporter Brian Maffly's look at the challenge researchers face in characterizing the severity of Utah's pollution problem and coming up with solutions.

Many of you want to know how much industry is responsible for Utah's air quality, and we'll assess that as part of our coverage.

Meanwhile, if you have a story to share, send it to utairquality@sltrib.com or outreach@kued.org with "My Bad Air Day" in the subject line, or share it at https://www.facebook.com/saltlaketribune or https://www.facebook.com/kuedchannel7.

You also may share video stories on Tout at www.tout.com/sltrib or by using the hashtag #mybadairday on Instagram.

The Tribune and KUED will share your stories as part of our ongoing air quality coverage.
