Letter: Single women still struggle without marriage

If anyone is wondering how same-sex marriage will affect opposite-sex marriage, just look at the number of single, never-married women living in Utah.

They are marginalized to a lone shadow, denied the protection and dignity of marriage, abstaining from cohabitation, frustrated, forced to wait until the next life to enjoy a committed relationship, condemned to watch from the sidelines while the rest of society flaunts marriage licenses as they take their children by the hand to create the new and improved family structure.

How strong these women must continue to be, because when Jesus said "The last shall be first" he wasn't talking about LGBT!
