We residents in a senior citizens mobile home park in Midvale have been informed of plans by a major builder in the valley for a large complex on this site. We, as seniors, do not have many options. We have no place to go and no money to pay the price of moving our homes.

The owners are now increasing the space rent from $320 to $500 a month in order to force us out. This is called financial eviction. We are seniors and disabled veterans on fixed incomes. Where is the justice, and what is to become of us?

We came here to quietly live our lives until the end and many of us have resided here for many years. You don't do this to seniors and the disabled or to anyone else for that matter. We are not able to sell our homes now the plans are known.
