Faith in action: Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit continues in Salt Lake City

"The Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times" includes one of the largest collections of the 2,000-year-old Dead Sea Scrolls. Discovered by a shepherd in 1947, the scrolls contain the oldest known copies of the Hebrew Bible. Visit for information.

'A Good Turn Christmas'

The Church History Museum temporary exhibit "A Good Turn Christmas" continues through Jan. 12. This year's theme for the annual exhibit focuses on the Christlike act of doing service and relates to the Boy Scout slogan to do a good turn daily. The artwork and artifacts in "A Good Turn Christmas" portray the birth of Jesus Christ, including several unique crèche sets from around the world. For more information, call 801-240-4615.
