Here are the first few minutes of BYU coach Dave Rose's press conference after the Cougars beat San Diego 87-53 at the Marriott Center on Saturday night.
Rose changed his starting lineup before the game, going with Skyler Halford at the two guard spot instead of Matt Carlino.
Halford delivered his best game as a Cougar, scoring a career-high 28 points and putting the defensive clamps on USD's Johnny Dee, the second-leading scorer in the WCC. Dee had just eight points, all in the first half.
Rose said he made the change to capitalize on the momentum that Halford gave the team in the second half of the second half of Monday's loss at Pepperdine.
