Logan • Oh what a night for TeNale Roland.

The senior guard has had a reputation as a good shooter since his days at Rend Lake junior college, but he hadn't shown that touch quite as much as he did Saturday night in what became an 86-67 blowout of San Jose State.

He had a career-best 20 points, going 5-for-5 from beyond the arc and 7-for-7 from the field. A missed free throw was his only slip-up shooting the ball to help the Aggies win their first conference game in the Mountain West.

"It felt good," he said, the kind of understatement that speaks to Roland's low-key character. "I was able to hit one and the rest of them were able to fall in."

Check out this video for more from Roland on his big night.

We also have a story today on the Aggies explaining how breakouts from Roland and other players off USU's bench could be big for the team as they get deeper into conference play. Read that here.
