Utah's athletes fare well in classroom

Utah's athletic teams continued to do well in the classroom with the teams combining for a fall semester GPA of 3.126. The gymnastics team led the way with a 3.812 GPA while track and field (3.409) and men's swimming and diving (3.26) were close behind the gymnasts. Football also had an all-time best with a mark of 2.828. More than 60 percent of Utah's student-athletes made the Athletic Director Honor roll, which requires a minimum of 3.0 GPA. - Lya Wodraska
