Uber, the nationwide car service in which riders can call up and track their taxi via a mobile app, will operate at Park City for the second year during the Sundance Film Festival.

Though the service is not actually yet available in Utah, Uber will operate during the festival, providing rides in a fleet of luxury cars as well as new Acura MDXs that will have bottled water, lip gloss, lip balm and hand warmers for riders.

The service became nationally recognized for being one of the first car services available in which customers can call up a car via their smartphones. They then can track the car via a GPS locator to know when the car is coming. Riders also can pay the driver through their app.
