Letter: King's promise will be fulfilled

We paused Monday to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, the man who redeemed the soul of a nation and made it live up to its promise: "Equality and justice for all."
But what about those in Utah whose rights were abrogated, hopefully only temporarily, by the courts? In 1965, Dr. King asked: "How long will prejudice blind the visions of men, darken their understanding, and drive bright-eyed wisdom from her sacred throne? How long will justice be crucified, and truth bear it?"
He answered with "How long? Not long, because the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." We shall soon witness that justice and equality will prevail for all of us.
