The South Jordan police want the public's help finding the man they suspect robbed the same gas station twice in five days.
On Tuesday, the male suspect entered the Maverik station at 10419 S. 2700 West, pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded cash from the clerk, according to a police news release. He had been wearing a dark-colored hoodie and bandana on his face.
Then on Saturday, the same suspect returned to the Maverik and demanded money from the clerk, though this time he did not use a weapon, the release adds. He left after receiving the money and cartons of Camel brand cigarettes. He was again wearing a bandana, as well as an orange and navy knit hat.
The investigators have audio and video recordings of the two robberies.
South Jordan police consider the suspect armed and dangerous, and ask that anyone with information to call their department at 801-840-4000.
