Women's basketball: UNLV hands Utah State fourth straight loss

Logan • UNLV shot 54 percent in the first half en route to a 73-67 victory over Utah State in Mountain West women's basketball Wednesday.

Jennifer Schlott scored a game-high 24 points, but was just 7 of 20 from the field. Franny Vaaulu was 8 of 13 from the field for 17 points. She also had seven rebounds and four assists for the Aggies (8-9, 2-4), which lost their fourth straight game.

Utah State was 0 for 5 from 3-point range in the first half.

Four UNLV (8-10, 5-1) players scored in double figures, including Alana Cesarz, who scored a team-high 14.
