Police say their raid on a west Salt Lake City home yielded two arrests and a cornucopia of illegal drugs, ranging from marijuana and spice to methamphetamine and heroin.

Also seized when officers served a search warrant on the home at 552 S. 1000 West 6 p.m. Wednesday were drug paraphernalia, an undisclosed amount of cash and two firearms, said Salt Lake police Detective Veronica Montoya.

Two men, ages 29 and 27, were taken into custody and booked into the Salt Lake County jail, where they remained held without bail Thursday on suspicion of numerous counts of drug possession with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm by restrict persons.

Other than characterizing the seizures as distribution-level in content, police did not release specific amounts or estimated street dollar values.

Detectives were investigating how long the men had been dealing drugs from the home, and what their source of supply may have been.

A female also in the home was not arrested, police said.

Both suspects have past convictions for drug possession and other crimes in Utah, police confirmed.
