I don't dislike The Following (7 and 8 p.m., Fox/Ch. 13) just because it's a bloody mess - literally. Or just because I fail to see the entertainment value in yet another unoriginal show about a serial killer.I dislike it because it's remarkably stupid. And the laziest writing on TV.Season 1 was filled with illogical situations and outcomes that made absolutely no sense at all. Season 2 began with the dumbest of horror tropes - the killer, who appeared to killed in an explosion at the end of Season 1, is not-so-remarkably alive at the beginning of Season 2.It's the same baloney we've seen in countless bad horror movies. And, no, I'm not giving anything away. The Season 2 premiere, which is being repeated tonight at 7 p.m., aired eight days ago. It won't be any smarter the second time around.Elsewhere on TV ...How I Met Your Mother (7 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): The mother reveals how she met Ted, from her perspective. The Bachelor (7 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): The bachelor and the women travel to Korea.Hollywood Game Night (7 and 8 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): A pair of new episodes.Heart of Dixie (7 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): Wade meets Vivian's son.NBA (7 p.m., ROOT): Sacramento Kings at Utah JazzBeing Human (7 and 10 p.m., Syfy): There's a new vampire boss in town.Mike & Molly (8 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Mike and Molly move in with Peggy.Beauty and the Beast (8 p.m., CW/Ch. 30): Cat, Tess and Tori are taken hostage.Bitten (8 and 11 p.m., Syfy): Elena and Clay work together.Mom (8:30 p.m., CBS/Ch. 2): Christy wants to get to know her father.Castle (9:01 p.m., ABC/Ch. 4): A staffer at a fan magazine is found dead. The Blacklist (9 p.m., NBC/Ch. 5): Red tips Liz off to a baby-stealing ring.Switched at Birth (9 p.m., ABC Family): Bay helps her teacher. The Fosters (10 and 11 p.m., ABC Family): Stef returns to work.South Park (10:30 p.m., Comedy Central): Cartman freezes himself.Archer (11 p.m., FX): Pam puts everyone in danger.Teen Wolf (11 p.m., MTV): The blackout forces a curfew on Halloween.
