Every skier or snowboarder who wants to learn to do tricks at a terrain park needs to start somewhere.

Brian Head Resort is trying to help that process along with the opening of the Foundation, the resort's third terrain park.

According to resort officials, the Foundation allows skiers and boarders to learn their way around a terrain park with a progressive setup allowing them to learn the basics in regards to boxes and jumps. The park features top gates and simple rollers. It is located at the Pioneer lift of the You're Ready trail. It joins the Bypass Terrain Park and BagJump, which opened to the public earlier in the season.
