Tempe, Ariz. • Georgia Dabritz still has to conquer her fears on the balance beam, but the rest of the events? Call them good for her. Actually, make that excellent.

Dabritz won the uneven bars (9.925) and floor (9.95) Saturday to help the fourth-ranked Utes beat No. 19 ASU 197.2-194.9. She also added a 9.875 on the vault.

Dabritz has won nine of the 12 events in which she has competed this year.

The junior is particularly dominant on the uneven bars, where she is ranked No. 1 in the nation and has won every title this year.

"I try not to think about my routines from meet to meet, but it's good," Dabritz said. "For sure we are having a lot of fun out there."

With four meets behind her, Dabritz is threatening to match the feat Tory Wilson completed last year when Wilson became the first Utah gymnast to go through a regular season undefeated on an event, winning 10 straight vault titles.

Dabritz, who is the only gymnast ranked in the top five on three events, has earned the Pac-12 Specialist of the Week award for three weeks in a row.

"She is in a really good place now," Utah coach Greg Marsden said. "To see the way she has matured over the last few years is rewarding as a coach."

Calling it good

ASU coach John Spini has announced he is retiring at the end of the year. Spini is ASU's longest-tenured coach, with Saturday's loss dropping him to 346-188-2.

Marsden is the sport's longest active coach. LSU's D-D Breaux, in her 37th year, is second and has a record of 626-396-8, and Alabama's Sarah Patterson is third with a record of 425-95-5 in her 36th year.

Neither ASU nor Alabama keeps postseason win-loss records.

Of note

Kassandra Lopez, who is out for the season with a torn Achilles tendon, traveled with the Utes to Tempe. The Tucson native is the only gymnast from Arizona on Utah's roster. … The Utes return home to host Arizona on Friday. … Saturday's meet started earlier than usual because the arena had to be prepared for a wrestling meet scheduled later in the day.
