Man robbed Salt Lake City credit union

Salt Lake City police want the public's help in identifying a man suspected of holding up a credit union.

About 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, the man demanded money from a teller at the Healthcare Credit Union at 769 E. South Temple. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot, according to a police news release.

The police describe him as a white man wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a black beanie, a dark jacket and glasses.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the Salt Lake City Police Department at 801-799-3000. People can also text anonymous tips to 274637 with the keyword TIPSLCPD, the information and the case number 14-19202.
