Police brought a trio's short-lived crime spree to an end in west Salt Lake City, jailing two men and a male juvenile on charges ranging from aggravated robbery to auto theft.

Salt Lake City police Detective Veronica Montoya said officers responding to 911 calls about 9 p.m. Wednesday were told the three had first robbed a man outside the Smith's store in Rose Park and then robbed another person outside a residence at 1400 North Miami Road (1800 West).

Witnesses were able to describe the men and their vehicle, and officers located and arrested two of the suspects moments later at the Maverik store, 676 N. Redwood Road. The third suspect was apprehended a short distance away after he initially drove off.

Police learned the car had been stolen.

Two men, ages 18 and 19, were booked into Salt Lake County Jail. The juvenile was booked into a juvenile detention facility.
