ELKO, Nev. • A Utah woman sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty to burglary, kidnapping and robbery is testifying against her alleged accomplice in a two-state crime spree that included the shooting of a woman during a botched carjacking in Nevada.

Angela Hill of Sanpete County says she participated because Logan McFarland, also of Sanpete County, threatened to kill her.

The two were arrested near Interstate 80 about 35 miles west of the Utah line after they allegedly stole a car in West Wendover and shot and wounded a woman on New Year's Eve 2012.

The Elko Daily Free Press reports that the trial continues Thursday in district court in Elko.

Both McFarland and Hill, who also goes by the name Angela Atwood, have been called persons of interest in the slaying of a Utah couple. Leroy and Dorotha Fullwood were found slain in their Mt. Pleasant home on the morning of Dec. 31, 2011.

Prosecutors say items stolen from the Fullwoods' home were found in the car being driven by McFarland and Hill. The two face burglary charges in Utah, but no charges have been filed in connection with the slayings.

Sanpete County Attorney Brody Keisel told The Associated Press he expects McFarland to be returned to Utah to face homicide and other charges once the Nevada case is resolved.
