Trib Talk, The Salt Lake Tribune's weekday live video chat hosted by Jennifer Napier-Pearce and Brennan J. Smith, is now available as a podcast.

You can download Napier-Pearce's Trib Talk and Smith's Sports Trib Talk programs here free of charge.

Trib Talk airs live at sltrib.com Monday through Friday at 12:15 p.m. The program offers viewers a chance to comment and ask questions of the hosts and their guests using the #TribTalk hashtag on Twitter or Google+ or by commenting at the bottom of the story into which the live video is embedded.

News and feature topics are discussed Monday, Tuesday and Friday, while sports is the topic on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Tribune decided to offer the podcast option after Trib Talk fans said they'd like to be able to listen to the program while driving, exercising or otherwise spending time away from their computers.

Archived versions of the video chat remain available at sltrib.com/topics/tribtalk or on the Tribune's YouTube page.

Meanwhile, "Behind the Headlines," an hour-long news program Napier-Pearce hosts Fridays at 9 a.m. on KCPW 88.3/105.3 FM, also is available as a podcast you can download here.
