Lebanon, Tenn. • Authorities say an explosion that killed a former Tennessee lawyer came from a package sent to his rural home.

The explosion at the Lebanon home on Monday evening killed 74-year-old Jon Setzer, who lived there.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Illana Tate says the package exploded, killing Setzer and injuring a woman, 72-year-old Marion Setzer. She was in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Hospital. They would not say whether they were a married couple.

Along with the TBI, agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, were investigating at the home on a rural cul-de-sac.

Police on Tuesday afternoon announced an $8,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction in the case.
